UPDATE: Elderly West Sac woman missing nearly a week | News
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - West Sacramento police say they have learned Georgina Crespo, who was first reported missing Friday, was seen either Wednesday, June 13, or Thursday, June 14, at the Town Center Plaza in town.
Crespo's family said she had been missing since Tuesday, June 12.
Crespo is from Texas. Detective Eric Palmer said she may be trying to go back there.
The missing woman was described as Hispanic, Spanish-speaking, 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. She has a medium/dark complexion, gray hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a brown corduroy jacket and carrying a green reusable shopping bag.
Crespo does not have dementia, police say, but may not know where she is if outside a 1/2 mile radius of her home. She is supposed to take medication for high blood pressure. Her family doesn't know if she has money or food with her.
Police say Crespo disappeared for 24 hours last month and was found in West Sacramento without further incident. With the length of time that has passed since the last time Crespo was seen last week, police are concerned for her well-being.
