River Cats host preseason party at Raley Field | Events
WEST SACRAMENTO - Hundreds of people turned for the Sacramento River Cats Preseason Party at Raley Field on Sunday.
Team mascot Dinger greeted fans, who enjoyed live music, free hot dogs, pizza, soda and other treats.
For many, the highlight of the event was a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at Raley Field, including tours of the River Cats locker room.
No players were present. They are all in Phoenix for Spring Training with the River Cats major league affilate, the Oakland Athletics.
The preseason party also marked the kick off of single game ticket sales for River Cats Games.
The River Cats begin their season April 4, at Raley Field against the Las Vegas 51s.
The River Cats won the South Division Championships for the 11th time last year.
