WEST SACRAMENTO, CA -Police were dispatched to the Capitol Bowl bowling alley in West Sacramento Tuesday morning in response to an activated burglar alarm.
According to West Sacramento police officers, the facility's owner reported an activated burglar alarm and claimed he possibly saw movement inside the building from video surveillance he was watching at home.
West Sacramento police arrived at the bowling alley on the 900 block of W. Capitol Ave. around 3:30 a.m. and surrounded the building until a K9 unit showed up. The woman, later identified as Brenda Santos, surrendered without incident when the dog was sent into the building.
Police say Santos was stacking meat and alcohol by the front door, possibly in anticipation of her accomplice picking her and the stolen goods up at the exit. However, the accomplice never showed up.
Santos, who had an outstanding burglary warrant, was arrested at the scene.
